Four charged with murder in Walton County

Four people have been arrested and charged

in connection with a deadly weekend shooting in Walton County, the sheriff’s office has announced.

Jonali James, Hailey Cribb, Donovan Morrison and a juvenile were taken into custody and charged in connection with the crime.

The arrests came after a fatal shooting that happened just after midnight on Sunday in an undeveloped area near Garrett Road outside of Monroe.

The victim has not been identified by the sheriff’s office.

Each of the suspects is charged with felony murder, armed robbery, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

The investigation is ongoing.
