An Athens woman reported that a peeping Tom Tuesday night looked into her home at a westside apartment complex.
According to an Athens-Clarke County police report, the woman said she was in bed with her wife in their apartment at the Bluffs at Epps Bridge at 10:43 p.m. when she received a notification from her Ring doorbell security system.
Looking at the system’s video feed, the woman saw a light-skin male with a beard and wearing a beanie and sweat suit, both light in color, staring through the couple’s window, according to the report.
The male stood there for about 20 seconds and then walked to the neighboring apartment, according to the report. After a while, the man returned to the couple’s apartment and looked through the window some more before he left, walking up the hill to the entrance to the complex's entrance, the report noted.
The woman notified police 30 minutes later.
