A fifth purported gang member was arrested this week for his alleged participation in an armed robbery two months ago.
Kajari Marquavious Willoughby, 17, was booked into the Clarke County Jail Monday on charges of armed robbery, aggravated assault and violation of the state Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act.
Willoughby allegedly participated in the pistol-whipping and robbery of a 16-year-old male victim at a residence in the 100 block of Whitehead Terrace on Nov. 2.
He and the other suspects were said by Athens-Clarke County police to be members of the Bloods street gang.
The other purported gang members who were previously arrested were identified as Dillon Scott Brown, 19, of Quailwood Drive, Joshua Wells, 18, of Bogart, and two juveniles, Elijah Connor Howard and Quentin Berry.
The juveniles have been charged as adults, but police said their jail booking photos were not being released.
