More than a dozen vehicles were vandalized last week in a southside neighborhood, according to Athens-Clarke County police reports.
Most of the incidents occurred at housing complexes at 100 and 101 Davis Street, and two more were discovered on nearby Moose Club Drive, according to the reports.
The area is located east of Memorial Park and north of Macon Highway.
Tires on one van and 15 cars and SUVs had tires that were either slashed or punctured by a knife late Thursday or early Fr4iday, according to the reports.
The total value of the damage was $4,655, the reports noted.
One report indicated that an investigation had begun, and additional patrols were ordered for the area.
