Man accused of repeatedly molesting young girl in Athens

A Clarke County grand jury has indicted an Athens man for allegedly molesting a young girl repeatedly last summer.
Jerry Lee Ray, 59, of Jennings Mill Parkway was charged with three counts of child molestation, according to the indictment filed in Superior Court on January 21.
The indictment follows his arrest last month on charges he touched the girl in a sexual manner on multiple occasions at Rocksprings Homes apartments.
He is being held without bail pending an arraignment that is scheduled for February 18.
