Massive fentanyl seizure in drug raid

On February 18, 2026, the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office arrested D’Evin Brown and Serina Johnson.
GCSO Special Investigations Section (SIS) and Gwinnett Metro Task Force (GMTF) personnel assisted the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) with the execution of a search warrant at a Gwinnett County residence.
During the search, approximately 1,450 grams of fentanyl were recovered, along with a firearm found in the same room. Brown and Johnson were charged with Trafficking in Morphine, Opium, or Heroin 28 Grams or more, Possession of a Firearm or Knife During Commission of or Attempt to Commit Certain Felonies, and Endangering a Child While DUI.
Brown and Johnson currently remain in custody at the Gwinnett County Jail without bond.
