An Athens woman reportedly was robbed of her car at gunpoint Tuesday night as she was exiting her gated eastside community.

According to Athens-Clarke police Lt. Shaun Barnett, the carjacking occurred at about 11:30 p.m. as the 41-year-old victim was in her car, waiting for the gate to open at College Glen Condominiums, located off of Cedar Shoals Drive and next to Cedar Shoals High School, when two Black males armed with guns approached her car, and at gunpoint demanded she get out of the vehicle.

Barnett, ACCPD's public information officer, said that the suspects then drove off in the victim’s Dodge Charger, which officers later found abandoned in the 200 block of Highland Park Drive, also located off of Cedar Shoals Drive.

Police asked for anyone with information about this incident to contact Detective Paul Johnson at 762-400-7060 or Paul.Johnson@accgov.com.

There was one in place that protected citizens, your racist liberal DA chooses not to use it or to even bother filing charges. Ignorant snowflake. So you don't like felling safe where you live? How many homeless do you have living with you now, St. Kathy?
