Athens-Clarke police said they were investigating the shooting of a man who was dropped off at the hospital early Tuesday with a gunshot wound.
The man was identified by police only as a 24-year-old Black male who resided on Catalpa Drive.
ACCPD Public Information Officer Lt. Shaun Barnett said police were notified by a hospital employee at about 2:30 a.m. that the victim had been driven to the emergency room by his girlfriend.
“He arrived at her residence stating that he had been shot and she took him to the hospital,” Barnett said.
Detectives were working to determine the circumstances of the shooting and where it occurred, he said
Police asked for anyone who has information about the shooting to contact Detective David Harrison at 762-400- 7361 or david.harrison@accgov.com.
And that’s a big surprise! Almost all shootings in this Liberal progressive “let’s protect the rights AND the feelings of the criminal“ county are gang related!
Its too bad Parker and Houle didn’t get their way and abolish the Drug Task Force because that unit is a speed bump to their twisted comic book version of true justice
