Police are searching for a missing Winder woman and her newborn son after they disappeared from their home Wednesday morning.
The Winder Police Department considers 24-year-old Kanijah Nakia Manuel and her child to be “endangered.”
They were last seen at Manuel's home at around 8:30 a.m.
Manuel is 5-foot-4 and weighs 135 pounds. She has dyed blonde hair, brown eyes and glasses, and was last seen wearing a black tank top and plaid pajama pants, according to police.
The infant was in a baby carrier.
Police said that Manuel has "no known means of travel."
WPD urges anyone who sees Manuel and her child, or knows of their whereabouts, to immediately call 911 or Detective James Schiltz at 770-867-2156.
Hoping and praying they are found safe.
