Science fact of the day: Giant pandas are capable of a range of vocalizations

Giant Pandas are capable of a range of vocalizations; they can chirp, honk, bleat, chomp, and bark.

As solitary animals, they rarely use these vocalizations, however, Giant Pandas will sometimes vocalize when playing with another panda (a relatively rare occasion).

They are also very vocal during the mating season.
