Screaming woman arrested for DUI in downtown Athens

Brianna Morgan Hill, 26, of Loganville, was arrested last week by police who responded to a report she was screaming inside a vehicle for about 30 minutes in downtown Athens.

Police said they received the 911 call at 2;49 a.m. on August13th and when officers found the woman in her SUV on East Clayton Street they could hear her still screaming.

They observed the vehicle pull out of a parking space before stopping directly behind the police car, with Hill continuing to scream.

When an officer made contact with Hill she immediately admitted that she had been drinking.

Confessing to having consumed two Modelo beers, a Margarita and a double shot of whiskey, and then told the officer she “wanted to be completely honest and admitted it was two double shots of whiskey.”

Hill declined a request to undergo sobriety testing because she “didn’t want to make a fool of herself,” and was then arrested for DUI.

After being placed in the police car, Hill agreed to go to the downtown police station to be tested by the Intoxilyzer 9000, but upon arriving there she became argumentative and uncooperative.

Hill was then taken to jail where, police said, she had to be dragged into a holding cell,
