Search underway for missing elderly Athens man

Police and fire personnel tonight are searching for 90-year-old Walter Cook in the area of Three Oaks Drive and Tallassee Road.

Cook is 6-feet tall, 170 pounds, has thinning gray hair and blue eyes, and may be wearing tan pants.

He also has a Chihuahua with him. If you have seen Cook or know his location, notify the Athens-Clarke County Police Department by dialing 911.
