Sexual voyeur caught with pants down outside Athens bedroom

A homeless man who was caught with his pants down while spying on a man and woman in their bedroom was indicted this week by an Athens-Clarke County grand jury.

Dwayne Watson, 33, was charged with peeping tom and loitering or prowling, according to the indictment filed Tuesday in: Superior Court.

The indictment stems from Watson’s arrest on June 22nd outside of an apartment on Spring Court.

A male resident had called police at about 1:40 am to report that he and his girlfriend heard noises outside as they were lying bed.

The responding officers found Watson still standing outside of the bedroom window. The police arrest report describes him as being shirtless and with his unbuckled pants down around his thighs,

Watson was arrested and booked into the county jail with a homeless day service center as his home address

The center is on North Avenue across from Spring Court.

Watson has remained in custody without bail and at the county jail and is scheduled to be arraigned on October 15th.
