Suspect sought after Athens woman assaulted with crowbar

Trico Latorey Glenn, 50, of Winterville Road, is being sought police for assaulting his girlfriend with a crowbar during a domestic violence at their home early in the morning of March 27th.

He and the 52-year-old victim were arguing about his drinking when he struck her in the face with the crowbar.

He took her phone when she tried to call for help.

The assault was witnessed by the victim’s teenage daughter who called 911.

A police incident report described her injuries as including “a deep laceration with significant bleeding on (the) neck and a deep cut on her right hand.”

She was transported by ambulance to the hospital,

Police were unable to locate Glenn, and during the search they located the victim’s phone in a neighboring yard,

Arrest warrants for the suspect will be for aggravated assault, theft, and third-degree cruelty to a child.
