By Joe Johnson

A Walton County man died Tuesday morning from injuries he sustained when his motorcycle crashed into an SUV at a Gwinnett County intersection.

According to Gwinnett County police, a preliminary investigation determined that 22-year-old Bailey Hill of Monroe was driving the motorcycle on State Route 10 at about 8:30 a.m. in unincorporated Loganville when he ran a red light at Rosebud Road and was ejected when the two vehicles collided.

Hill later died at a local hospital, police said.

Following the crash, the driver of the SUV veered off the roadway and ran over a sign.

Both vehicles were impounded to Gwinnett County Police Headquarters for further analysis.
