Woman arrested for walking around in public without pants

A woman was arrested in east Athens last week when police found her in public without pants on.

Responding to a complaint about a woman walking pantless on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, police found 32-year-old Brittani Clark and they explained to her that it was illegal to be out in view of the public while not wearing pants.

The homeless woman reportedly told officers that she didn’t need pants because she was wearing a T-shirt like it was a dress.

Clark also said that the she had smoked something that had THC in it.

Police arrested Clark for indecent exposure and gave her pants to wear prior to taking her to the jail.
