Woman charged with stabbing during brawl at Rolling Ridge Apartments

An Athens woman was arrested in connection with a brawl at Rolling Ridge Apartments in which another woman was stabbed several times.

Zy-Quajiah Diara Davenport, 23, was charged with aggravated assault for allegedly stabbing 26-year-old Diamond Terrell during the fight involving two groups of women that occurred early the morning of November 1.

Terrell, said she was trying to break up the altercation when stabbed.

According to police, she suffered punctures to her nose, shoulder knee and arm, as well as a slice wound on the wrist.

Davenport was located at Clarke Gardens apartments, where police recovered from her purse a switchblade knife.

Shewas released from custody upon posting a $5,000 bond.
