Woman living in storage unit arrested on warrant from out of county

A homeless woman who was living in storage unit on North Chase Street was arrested last week when police learned that a warrant for her arrest was on file in Banks County.

Sue Griffin, 43, had been living there with a 73-year-old homeless man and police were called on June 5th by the manager of Chase Street Warehouse & Storage after he received neighborhood complaints about the pair.

The manager also said that drug-related items had been found near the unit.

The man was barred from the property and issued a warning for criminal trespass, and Griffin was taken to the jail where she was held for pickup by Banks County sheriff’s deputies.
