Woman’s body found in North Oconee River Park

The body of an unidentified woman was found Saturday in the North Oconee River Park.

Authorities are hoping that her identity will be established from an autopsy at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s forensic laboratory in Decatur.

The woman was black and had gray hair, according to officials, who did not say whether foul play was suspected.
