The sentence was imposed on June 5th by Superior Court Judge Eric Norris in accordance with a plea agreement previously reached between Brooks and the Western Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office.
Brooks, 49, of Garnett Ridge Drive had been arrested in February as the result of an investigation by the Northeast Georgia Regional Drug Task Force.when he was found in possession of 36 grams of cocaine, one gram of fentanyl, and alprazolam (Xanax) pills.
