Thursday night at the White House, while President Joe Biden was demonstrating his command of the complexities and nuances of international politics, former President Donald Trump was entertaining Hungarian strong man and Prime Minister, Victor Orban, at his Mar-a-Lago estate. While President Biden is working hard to convince Democratic politicians and Americans that he remains the best candidate to defeat Mr. Trump in November, Mr. Trump is backpedaling like mad to distance himself from Project 2025. He reminds me of the Sargeant Schultz character on the 1960s TV show, Hogans Heroes. He knows nothing, yet he quickly says on Truth Social that he doesn’t agree with the plan. Doesn’t agree? Balderdash! Over 150 of his closest friends had a hand in writing it. Anyone unfamiliar with Project 2025 should take the time to learn about it and who’s behind its draconian content. Every voting American should think very carefully about what freedom means before voting in November.
