When Tatianna Wilbon shot three teenage girls in downtown Athens last weekend she was free on bond from a gun-related arrest three weeks earlier.

According to court records, she was arrested on September 2nd after threatening to kill another woman “while holding a firearm and stating I’m gonna shoot this bitch in the face” at Rolling Ridge Apartments.

And at that time Wilbon was free on bond from yet another arrest for a violent assault.

Last December she was arrested on battery charges for kicking a woman in the head and punching another in the face during an altercation at a Commerce Road convenience store.

She was released from jail upon posting a $5,000 bond.

The most recent incident happened just before 4 a.m. on September 28th on East Clayton Street,

A police officer reported that he responded to a fight and shots rang out as he helped to disperse a large group.

According to police, a 15-year-old girl was shot in the ankle, a bullet struck the back of a 14-year-old girl and the third victim, also aged 14, was shot in the bicep.

A suspect wasn’t identified at the scene but the report notes that shooting was captured on surveillance video.

The suspect was subsequently identified as Wilbon, who was arrested a day later on three counts of aggravated assault.

She is currently being held at the county jail, where authorities from Barrow and Madison counties have placed holds on her release for probation violations.
