In addition to schools and government offices closing due to the weather, the county just posted this alert concerning public transportation:

Transit Service Suspended Due to Winter Weather Conditions Until Jan. 22 at 10:00 AM

Due to icy/frozen conditions on bridges and roadways across Athens-Clarke County, Transit has suspended service as of 5:30 PM on Tues., Jan. 21. Service is planned to resume on Jan. 22 at 10:00 AM in conjunction with ACCGov's delayed opening.
