Daryl Howard, 35, was arrested on warrants early the morning of March 20, at an apartment complex on Sycamore Drive.
He was taken in custody when served with warrants by members of the local police Gang Unit and FBI Safe Streets Task Force.
An Athens-Clarke County Police Department incident report does not state what the warrants were for.
However, the county jail’s website indicates that Howard was booked on two felony probation violations, one for the original charges of possession with intent to distribute cocaine and marijuana, and the other for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
