A homeless man was arrested in downtown Athens the afternoon of June 2nd after he exposed himself inside Little Italy on North Lumpkin Street.
Police nabbed 42-year-old Cody Saurer as he was standing on the sidewalk outside the pizzeria soon after an employee reported that he had exposed himself to customers and staff.
“I arrested Mr. Saurer for disorderly conduct, as he was interfering with people’s lawful pursuits by his abusive conduct of exposing his genitalia in public,” the arresting officer wrote in his report.
Saurer was arrested again five days later on a criminal trespassing charge at The World Famous on North Hull Street.
Bail was set at $100 but it had yet to be posted as of Saturday night.
