A 63-year-old Athens man was killed Tuesday morning when struck by a car on West Broad Street. Joseph Buckles was crossing the street at its intersection with Old Epps Bridge Road at about 7:14 a.m. when struck by an eastbound Toyota Camry being driven by a 21-year-old woman from Lawrenceville.

He was not identified by police, and an investigation into the matter was ongoing.

Anyone with information is asked by police to contact Senior Police Officer James Trotter at James.Trotter@accgov.com or 762-400-7326.

Switching to remote work has been amazing! I earn $192–$288 per day, and the job is super flexible. It’s so nice to work from the comfort of home and have time for other things in my life. Let me know if you’d like more details—Tap on Finance Economy OR Investing I’d be happy to share.
