Naked homeless woman threatens to stab Classic Center employee

A homeless woman was arrested inside the Classic Center last week after she threatened to stab an employee who found her completely naked in a stairwell.

The 54-year-old employee was investigating patron complaints about the woman on the afternoon of August 3rd when Jana Russell raised a toothbrush and told the employee that she was going to stab her.

The employee showed police cellphone video of the incident in which the completely naked 41-year-old woman made stabbing motions with the toothbrush while screaming profanities.

Russell was charged with simple assault, public indecency, and criminal trespass.

She remained at the county jail Monday afternoon in lieu of bonds totaling $300, with a court arraignment scheduled for September 18th.
