A member of the EBE street gang shot his victim following a sexual rendezvous, according to a search

warrant that was recently filed in Superior Court.

The warrant was for permission to search the Instagram account that 22-year-old Ytrevious Roberson used in January 2022 to arrange a sexual encounter with the victim, identified as 30-year-old Miles Brown.

After having sex, the warrant says, the men drove to the Chatham Park neighborhood where Roberson exited the car and fired several shots from a .45-caliber handgun, wounding Miles in the ankle.

Police said that after they identified Roberson as the shooter, they tried to arrest him in May 2022 by stopping a car in which he was a passenger.

The car fled from an attempted traffic stop and Roberson eluded arrest by running from the vehicle and jumping into the North Oconee River.

Seven months later, police identified Roberson as a shooter in another incident in which members of the rival Red Tape Gang were fired upon.

After he was finally arrested in May 2023, Roberson was indicted for both sets of crimes, charged with multiple counts of aggravated assault and participating in a criminal street gang.

Roberson already is a convicted felon.

In 2019 he pleaded guilty to charges from an armed robbery in which he was then affiliated with the Crips street gang and was sentenced to serve three years in confinement and 12 years on probation.

He is scheduled to go on trial September 8th for the aggravated assault on Brown.
