Science fact of the day: Channel catfish have multiple taste receptors

Channel Catfish have taste receptors all over their bodies. Their strong sense of taste and smell helps them find food at the bottom of the dark, muddy waters where they live.

They have the most taste receptors in the four pairs of barbels (“whiskers”) that surround their mouths.
