Science fact of the day: Hummingbirds don’t eat just nectar

While hummingbirds are known for dining on flower nectar and it is their primary food source,it isn’t the onlything these speedy little birds eat.

Hummingbirds also dine on insects such as spiders for protein and sometimes sip on tree sap, too.
