Three more people were arrested Tuesday in connection with a home-invasion robbery last month at a southside apartment complex.

The Monday arrests were in addition to three arrests made near the scene of the June 26 robbery at Windsor Place apartments off Macon Highway, Athens-Clarke County police said.

The incident occurred at about 11 p.m. when the intruders, one of whom wielded a kitchen knife, forced their way into the victims’ home, according to police,

The suspects stole electronics, shotguns, knives and a cell phone, according to records, police said.

“Communications Officers provided officers a description of three suspects,” Athens-Clarke County police Public Information Officer Geof Gillamd said. “After searching the area, two adult suspects and one juvenile were arrested.”

One of the suspects reportedly was armed with a knife that he used to threaten the victims, from whom electronics, shotguns, knives and a cell phone were stolen.
