Illegally tinted windows lead police to suspected dealer and ‘plethora of dope’

A suspected drug dealer was arrested last week after the car he was riding in was stopped by police for having illegally tinted windows.
An officer on patrol spotted the car on the afternoon of May 13 in the area of Nellie B Avenue and Gressom Street.
After stopping the vehicle, he used a tint meter to confirm that the windows were darker than what the law allows.
While speaking with the driver, the officer noticed a strong odor of green marijuana and he radioed for backup.
Before additional officers arrived at the scene, one of the passengers exited the vehicle and ran.
The officer chased after and caught the passenger, identified as 30-year-old Kinarious Faust of Martin Court. He was found in possession of a large amount of cash and a small quantity of marijuana.
Meanwhile other officers searched the car and came across “a plethora of dope,” as stated in the police incident report.
The report catalogued the drugs as follows:
A big bag of green leafy substance suspected to be marijuana — 248.4 grams;
A smaller bag of green leafy substance suspected to be marijuana — 9.7 grams;
White powdery/brick like substance test positive for cocaine — 57.9 grams;
Crystal like substance test positive for methamphetamine — 24.6 grams;
Green grassy like substance suspected to be spice —- 26.3 grams;
Blue like powdered substance suspected to be fentanyl;
Purple rock like substance suspected to be fentanyl;
Smaller purple rock like substance suspended to be fentanyl — 2.5 grams.
Faust was arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine, trafficking methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
He is being held without bail in pretrial detention.
The drugs were to be submitted for verification to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation forensic laboratory.
The 28-year-old woman who was driving the car that Faust was in was ticketed for the tinted windows and fo driving with a suspended vehicle registration.
