Woman charged with drug possession after QuikTrip restroom attack

An Athens woman was arrested early the morning of April 13 after allegedly attacking another woman in a restroom at QuikTrip on Lexington Road.

Police responded to the gas station/convenience store at about 1:30 a.m. on a report of a fight inside the business.

After breaking up the fight, officers found out that a 36-year-old Rocksprings Court resident had been using the restroom when she was attacked by Iesha Brown, 34, of College Avenue.

The two women were still fighting when officers arrived, and after they separated the women Brown was found to have bags of ecstasy and marijuana in her purse.

She was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.
