“The future belongs to the Republican Party because we enjoy a ‘fertility advantage’ over Democrats. Our Christian conservative women have more children than Democrat women”, said the Vice Chair of the Georgia Republican Party to attendees at a county GOP meeting . Congressman Steve King ( R ) said to an Iowa audience, “What if we went back through all the family trees and just pulled out anyone who was a product of rape or incest? Would there be any population of the world left if we did that?” The Vice Chair said out loud what the Georgia GOP has made clear with their backward policy agenda, they only value women for their ability to reproduce. Is Mr. King saying women and young girls should relax and accept assault?
‘Lock her up’, ‘Send her back’, chants used at GOP rallies toward any woman not behaving as they believe she should. Women running afoul of Trump are not human beings. They are ‘things’ that should not be paid attention to —they should be gotten rid of.
This is why women are leaving the Republican Party in droves. Women, daily are concluding, that the values of the Party are no longer in line with their values. They have no seat at the GOP table when men associate their worth with baby making and photo-op availability to perpetuate their hoax of diversity.
Georgia women know their worth and will vote for candidates that also know.
