Jamie Lamar Terrell, 45, of Smokey Road, was indicted this week by an Athens-Clarke County grand jury for trafficking methamphetamine and other alleged crimes.
The indictment stems from his arrest in July when, police said, a search of his home found over 28 grams of methamphetamine and 20 bags of fentanyl that were prepared for distribution.
In addition to meth trafficking he was charged with possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and possession with intent to distribute marijuana, according to the indictment filed Tuesday in Superior Court.
Terrell is free on bail and is scheduled to be arraigned on December 2nd.
