Athens firefighters battle apartment complex blaze

Athens-Clarke County firefighters on Friday afternoon responded to a fire at the Serene at Northside apartment complex on Old Hull Road.

The police department issued an alert for motorists to avoid the area due to the road being closed for firefighting operations.
