A 59-year-old man was found dead in his home on Bramble Hills Circle the afternoon of September 28th after having gone to bed the night before upset that the University of Georgia football team had lost to the University of Alabama.
A roommate and an uncle told police that when they last saw Rufus Faust at 2:30 a.m. he seemed fine and told them that he wanted to have pizza for lunch.
“He did not have any medical complaints at the time,” police said, “he was just upset that UGA lost to Alabama.”
The roommate found Faust unresponsive when he went to get him at around noon, according to police, who said the death appeared to be from natural causes.
