Help the city of Winder celebrate its 131st birthday

The city of Winder on Friday will be throwing a birthday party for itself and is inviting everyone to help celebrate.

The party will include live music, lots of food, and be capped off with a fireworks display.

Festivities kick off at 6 p.m. at Jug Tavern Park on East Athens Street.

Per a city press release: “Happy 131st Birthday Winder. This event will have it all-once again – music, food trucks, and community spirit! Celebrating our City’s past, present and future. Dance the night away with the Swingin’ Medallions concert starting at 6:30pm and stick around for a spectacular fireworks display at 9:30pm.”
