Man head-butts wife, assaults her with hole puncher

Phillip Todd Brooks, 46, of Lexington Road, was arrested early in the morning of January 31st after a domestic violence incident with his wife concerning the television.

An argument began when Brooks insisted on watching TV while his wife was trying to sleep, When things turned physical, he head-butted the 41-year-old victim and struck her face with a hole puncher

had significant visible injuries to her face.

According to police, Brooks also tried physically preventing her from calling 911 and threatened to kill her if she did.

The call for help was eventually made by the couple’s teenage daughter, who witnessed the incident.

The responding officers noted that the victim had significant facial injuries,

Brooks was arrested on charges of family violence battery, simple battery, false imprisonment, terroristic threats and acts, and third-.degree cruelty to children.

He was released the following day on bail with conditions that he have no contact with his wife and daughter.
