Infidelity accusations ruin dinner plans for Vine Street couple

A 66-year-old man was in the middle of cooking on the night of August 24th when his girlfriend stormed in accusing him of cheating with another woman.

Michelle Nicole Howard reportedly grabbed a pot of beans from her boyfriend and tried to throw it at him.

The man told police that after slapping the pot out of Howard’s hand she dragged him to the ground by the shirt collar.

While tussling on the floor Howard allegedly bit her boyfriend behind his ear and he pulled out some of her braids when grabbing hair to make her stop.

After the man got away from her, Howard then threw a chair but missed him.

She also allegedly banged the top of his head with the handle of a kitchen knife.

Both parties bore injuries from the struggle but police determined that Howard had been the primary aggressor and she was arrested on a family violence battery charge.

She was released from jail upon posting cash bail in the amount of $9.

Hioward pleaded not guilty at her arraignment on September 15th.
