Athens-Clarke County police said Tuesday that they were investigating a weekend shooting at a northside subdivision that targeted a 34-year-old man.
According to police, officers responded to the 200 block of Garnett Ridge Drive at about 9:18 p.m. Saturday to investigate a report of gunshots being fired.
Garnett Ridge is a subdivision of rental duplexes off Old Jefferson Road and Vincent Drive.
Officers spoke to the victim, who stated that two suspects shot at him but missed.
The victim’s truck had a bullet hole in the door and some vehicle windows were shattered., according to police.
The victim described one suspect as a slim Hispanic male who was about 5-feet-11 and the other as a white male with no shirt, police said
