The Cancer Foundation is calling on the community of Northeast Georgia to help restock its Patient Pantry, an essential resource for local cancer patients facing the emotional and financial challenges of their diagnoses. With the holiday season approaching, the need for shelf-stable food items is more urgent than ever.
Many cancer patients are struggling to afford basic groceries while managing overwhelming medical expenses. The Patient Pantry, part of The Cancer Foundation's Nutritional Assistance Program, aims to alleviate some of this burden by providing nutritious food to those in need. Each donation fills pantry shelves and offers hope and reassurance to individuals and families fighting cancer.
As demand for the Patient Pantry continues to rise, The Cancer Foundation is appealing for assistance from local civic organizations and faith communities to collect non-perishable food items to support patients during this challenging time.
