Two people were hospitalized with gunshot wounds Thursday afternoon after they were shot in a north Athens trailer park, Athens-Clarke County police said.
The alleged shooter, 29-year-old Calvin Louis Brown was located and arrested at his home at Rolling Ridge Apartments early Friday morning, according to police.
He was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of aggravated battery.
According to police, the shooting occurred at about 5 p.m. Thursday in Lot 124 at the Pinewood Estates mobile home park off U.S. Highway 29 North.
Upon arrival, officers located two victims and began first aid, police said.
One of the victims was a 60-year-old resident of Lot 124, and the other was a 64-year-old man from Winterville, according to police.
Both victims were transported to the hospital, where the woman was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and released, and the male victim was treated for serious injury and remained hospitalized on Friday, according to police.
As the investigation continues, Brown may face additional charges, police said.
