Man assaults car with knife on UGA campus

A visitor on the University of Georgia campus on New Year’s Eve punctuated a tire of a student’s car on the evening of New Year’s Eve.
The incident happened December 31st when a thhe student was driving on East Campus Road near Sanford Stadium and Jesse Keith Price walked into the road in front of the student’s car. The student rolled down his window and asked Price if he needed help, and whe his passenger warned that Price had a knife in his hand he rolled the window back up and Price began stabbing the tires.
The student drove away and flagged down a cop near College Avenue and the officer observed that air was escaping from a rapidly deflating rear tire.
Price, 23, of Albany, was charged with possession of a weapon on school grounds, disorderly conduct , criminal damage to property, and pedestrian under the influence.
