The Athens-Clarke County Police Department is investigating a shooting Saturday night at an eastside trailer park in which one person was injured.
According to a police incident report, the shooting occurred at Hallmark Estates off Spring Valley Road at about 10:40 p.m. when a group of four people ranging in age from 17 to 20 were standing between two vehicles heard gunshots.
They all ran upon hearing the gunfire, but one of them, a 20-year-old Branch Street man, was struck by a bullet in the hip, according to police.
The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment, police said.
The victim and witnesses said they did not see anything but only heard the shots, according to police.

A reward is being offered for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the offender or offenders.
