Cail Glaze, 53, of Highland Park Drive, was arrested at Piedmont Athens Medical Center early the morning of June 4th after drugs were confiscated from him in the emergency room.

Glaze had been transported to PARMC from Oconee County, where he was arrested during a traffic during which he swallowed fentanyl.

As nurses were changing him into a hospital gown they discovered that Glaze had bags of crack cocaine and fentanyl in his clenched fist, but they were able to pry the drugs away from him and the police were called,

He was arrested for possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and possession of cocaine.
