Over 30 guns, fentanyl and other narcotics seized

Doraville, Ga., Nov. 6, 2025) – Gwinnett County Police Uniform Officers make a significant arrest during stolen trailer investigation.
On October 30, 2025, the Gwinnett County Police Department received a report of a stolen trailer out of Norcross. Uniform Officers from the West Precinct utilized Flock license plate readers to determine the trailer, after being stolen, had been attached to a vehicle associated with Matthew Davis. During follow up, officers located the trailer at Davis’s residence in Doraville, where a different license plate had been affixed to it.
As a result, a search warrant was obtained and executed at the residence. During the search, officers recovered more than 30 firearms, prescription narcotics, fentanyl, and methamphetamine.
