For the religious right, erasing the constitutional right to abortion was just the beginning. They are coming after all our reproductive rights and freedoms, every single one of them, and the only way to stop them is with our votes.

Since Roe v. Wade was overturned, many states have effectively banned abortions. Even where there are exceptions, the law is often so murky that physicians refuse to provide needed care for fear of being sent to prison. As a result, many women with pregnancy complications cannot get medical help until they are almost at death’s door. These dangerous bans have led to a critical shortage of doctors, who feel they cannot practice quality medicine in these states.
While the mailing of mifepristone (which is used to treat miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies, as well as provide safe abortions) is still legal,
a Trump Administration’s politically-led FDA might remove its approval of this pill.
Recently, in vitro fertilization (IVF) has come under attack, with some legislatures defining human life as beginning at fertilization. How can a movement that proclaims it is pro-life deny infertile couples the miracle of having children?
Now, birth control is in MAGA’s crosshairs. Mr. Trump has recently said he is looking at restrictions on contraceptives.
Most Americans oppose these draconian measures, yet MAGA Republicans persist in pushing bills that outlaw abortion, IVF, and some forms of contraception.
Tell MAGA world that reproductive health care is a basic human right. Vote!

I find it very predictable that the only two advocates for banning abortion in these comments are men. They know full well if they could get pregnant they would need abortion clinics in every corner.
I find it hilarious that the reason one needs an abortion is not discussed. It's like women are intentionally having unprotected sex to intentionally get pregnant only to then scream about not being able to have an abortion. It's not rocket science. Don't want a baby, use birth control.
So the hard-fought-for rights won fifty years ago are erased by the Trumpublicans who want an autocracy led by white "Christian" men. I used to be an independent voter but Democrats will get my vote every time now. At least unless/until the GOP regains its sanity.
Suzanne, I completely agree with you, and I am so afraid for all the women who are going to be maimed or die because they could not get the appropriate healthcare. They belong to all parties. Reproductive challenges do not discriminate on the basis of party. I cannot fathom how many doctors we may lose in Georgia because of these draconian laws. We already have a problem related to attracting enough health care professionals to our State. It will be a real shame if after we build our new Medical School, the doctors opt to move to States where they can truly practice their profession.
Yes please vote! Reproductive health care is not a basic human right.
