Science fact of the day: Antelope have special facial glands

Antelope have special scent glands located in front of each eye.

Called preorbital glands, they secrete a fluid that antelope wipe on grass, twigs, tree trunks, stones, and even other antelope to mark their territory.

They have additional scent glands located near their knees and between their split hooves.
