Science fact of the day: Okapis Are the Giraffe’s Only Living Relatives.

Okapis are the only living relatives of giraffes.

They live only in the tropical rainforests in the northeast region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Okapis are striped like zebras but share the giraffe’s large, upright ears as well as their long, dark, prehensile tongues.
